About the position

The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for leveraging the Force.com platform to customize applications and enhance functionality based on client requirements. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define technical requirements, ensuring alignment with customer goals, and managing the technical aspects of project environments. The developer will also oversee release cycles, compile development standards, and provide training for the development team, all while delivering business value through strategic technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and enhancements.
• Ensure technical requirements align with established customer requirements and performance goals.
• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new updates to existing applications and code.
• Manage overall technical responsibility for the project environments.
• Compile internal development guidelines/standards and ensure adherence by the development team.
• Collaborate with developers from other systems for business integration.
• Communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and act as a trusted voice in decision-making.
• Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth transition to Maintenance & Operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience using Force.com platform's functionalities and customizing applications based on Apex coding or configurations.
• 4+ years of programming experience with Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript within the Salesforce platform.
• 5+ years of experience with Service Cloud or Gov Cloud.
• 3+ years of Apex API Integration experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or other DevOps tools.

• Experience with governmental processes and procedures relating to compliance.
