About the position

The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing and developing scalable applications that meet business needs through user-friendly design. This role involves engaging in an agile development environment, building integrations between Salesforce and other systems, and ensuring high performance and reliability of applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable applications that address real business needs through user-friendly design.
  • Create software that is easily maintainable and highly testable.
  • Engage in an agile development environment, actively contributing to the success of agile ceremonies.
  • Build and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting on the Salesforce platform to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Develop Lightning Web Components.
  • Create custom triggers and external tools for data maintenance, import/export, and application integrity.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and development practices.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in software engineering with Salesforce.
  • Significant focus on developing Lightning Web Components; strong experience with LWCs or other JavaScript frameworks is essential.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, understand overarching goals, assess trade-offs, weigh pros and cons, and evaluate risks in decision-making.
  • Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce declarative tools, including Flow and Validation Rules.
  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce data model, security structure, and sharing rules.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques, such as REST/SOAP APIs and External Objects.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining code assets such as Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and triggers.
