About the position

The Senior Salesforce Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting AWS's Global Infrastructure teams by acting as the primary point of contact for various user groups and global teams. This position involves development, maintenance, configuration, reporting, and training within the Salesforce.com environment. The engineer will lead multiple technical projects, drive automation of processes, and manage integrations with other business systems, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for multiple user groups and global teams requiring Salesforce development and support.
• Lead multiple technical projects or portions of projects simultaneously.
• Drive automation of processes and develop new applications within the Salesforce.com environment.
• Manage integrations with various business systems and ensure seamless operation.
• Produce reporting needed on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for stakeholders.
• Provide training and support to users on Salesforce functionalities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• 4+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
• 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
• 4+ years of systems development experience in an IT or data center environment.
• 4+ years of experience deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
• 2+ years of experience in systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement.

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ years of experience in development/programming/scripting languages (Python/Java/Bash/Perl).
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
• Experience in taking a leading role in building complex software or computing infrastructure successfully delivered to customers.
