About the position

As a Senior Salesforce Solution/Technical Architect (CLM VLOCITY), you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions tailored to meet the needs of our diverse clientele. This position is part of the Concentrix Catalyst team, which is dedicated to enhancing experience design and engineering capabilities. You will be working with cutting-edge technologies, including Salesforce.com products, APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, and mobile development technologies, as well as integration and ETL technologies. Your expertise will help ensure that the solutions you design are robust, scalable, and capable of handling high volumes of transactions without failure. In this role, you will collaborate closely with client stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables, ensuring that expectations are set and managed effectively. You will translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform to its fullest potential. Leading technical design sessions, you will document technical solutions that align with client business objectives and identify any gaps between the current and desired states of their systems. Your oversight will be crucial in maintaining governance over Salesforce projects, ensuring that coding standards are followed, and leading code reviews to uphold quality and appropriate design patterns. Additionally, you will manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of Salesforce implementations. Your ability to debug issues and understand project intricacies will be essential. Occasionally, you may also engage in pre-sales activities, including discovery sessions and Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with potential clients. Liaising with Salesforce product teams will further support client implementations, making your role integral to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
  • Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states
  • Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects
  • Follow and help define coding standards; lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed
  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation
  • Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role
  • Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues
  • Partake in other pre-sales activities such as discovery and technical deep-dive sessions, Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects
  • Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent proven experience required; experience evaluated based on core proficiencies for the role
  • 9-14 years CRM experience with a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce platform, ideally with some CLM experience
  • Experience with the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds
  • Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions
  • Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices
  • Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture
  • Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
  • Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL)
  • Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
  • Strong background in design/development of large web-based systems, or complete software product lifecycle exposure
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
