As a Senior Salesforce Technical Architect at Cognizant, you will play a pivotal role in engineering, architecting, and delivering premier solutions for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to produce enterprise-standard implementations that demonstrate the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform. You will lead delivery teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions on Salesforce.com, focusing on tailored solutions that involve complex UX/UI, real-time and batch integrations, robust security measures, and custom automation processes. In this role, you will translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform effectively. You will interact with various teams, including Business, Program, Project, Development, Operations, and Service Integration, to deliver comprehensive technical solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and implementing scalable, compatible, and high-performance solutions, particularly in the context of Salesforce AppExchange products. You will lead technical design sessions, architect and document technical solutions that align with client business objectives, and distribute development tasks to team members while mentoring developers throughout the solution development process. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing high-level estimates by analyzing cases and designing solutions, as well as conducting code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure the highest code quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have validated experience in Information Technology, with at least eight years of professional Salesforce application development and architectural experience. This includes proficiency in Apex, Visual Force, SOQL, web services, data migration, Salesforce Development & Customization, Salesforce DevOps, Sales Cloud, Lightning, and Configuration. Experience from at least two end-to-end Salesforce implementations as a Technical Lead or Technical Architect is essential. A background in Java, .Net, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, and Angular JS will also be necessary for success in this role. The position is based in Burbank, CA, with a requirement to be on-site three days a week, and media and entertainment experience is preferred. PD2 Certification is mandatory, along with hands-on expertise in developing applications on the Force.com Platform and experience in building web service-enabled applications (SOAP and RESTful).
