About the position
This position is responsible for the design, development, and support of the SAP S/4 HANA or the latest version of SAP ECC, focusing primarily on the MM Module. The role requires extensive experience with SAP configurations and at least one full-cycle implementation, preferably in a global manufacturing environment. The candidate will engage in system-related process improvements, ERP integrations, and system upgrades, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and business knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Understand business processes and end-to-end data flows, working closely with users to map business processes on S4/HANA.
- Build strong relationships with local site leaders and business teams, providing proactive guidance during SAP processes.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IT regarding SAP Procure to Pay processes.
- Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and document customer journeys.
- Design and implement new operational processes to meet business objectives.
- Support the creation of business requirements and functional specifications.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions.
- Lead or participate in multiple small to medium projects, managing project documentation and stakeholder communications.
- Provide day-to-day functional support in SAP MM.
- Work with users to configure SAP S/4 HANA or collaborate with developers for necessary developments.
- Develop test requirements and document test data for unit and verification testing.
- Document fit/gap analysis and design decisions, ensuring sufficient business justification for deviations from standard functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven expertise as an SAP MM analyst with a minimum of 7+ years of support/development experience with full life cycle implementations.
- Strong understanding of Procure to Pay processes and related business functions.
- Experience in architecting, configuring, deploying, and testing SAP applications.
- Global experience and strong project management capabilities are desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with MRP/Planning and EWM.
- Knowledge of SAP Variant Configuration processes.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori based processes.
