About the position

The Senior SAP ERP Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and support of SAP S/4 HANA or the latest version of SAP ECC, focusing primarily on the MM Module. This role requires extensive experience with SAP configurations and at least one full-cycle implementation, preferably in a global manufacturing environment. The analyst will engage in system-related process improvements, ERP integrations, and system upgrades, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and business knowledge while working closely with project stakeholders to ensure quality solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes and end-to-end data flows, working closely with users to map business processes on S4/HANA.
• Support users in different time zones, primarily for US-based operations.
• Build relationships with local site leaders and business teams, providing proactive guidance during SAP processes.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IT in SAP Procure to Pay processes.
• Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and document customer journeys.
• Design and implement new operational processes to meet business objectives.
• Support the creation of business requirements and functional specifications to improve system functionality and performance.
• Lead or participate in multiple small to medium projects, managing project scope and stakeholder communications.
• Provide day-to-day functional support in SAP MM and configure SAP S/4 HANA as needed.
• Develop test requirements and document test data for unit and verification testing.
• Document fit/gap analysis and design decisions, ensuring sufficient business justification for deviations from standard functionality.
• Mentor and train other application developers on development activities within the ERP team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of support/development experience as an SAP MM analyst with full life cycle implementations.
• Proven expertise in Procure to Pay processes and related business functions.
• Strong hands-on experience with architecting, configuration, deployment, and testing of SAP applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing conditions.

• Experience with MRP/Planning and EWM.
• Knowledge of SAP Variant Configuration processes.
