The Senior SAP Finance Application Developer - Insurance (FPSL) position is a critical role within the Advanced Technology Centers (ATCs) at Accenture, which serves as a hub for innovation and transformation in client engagements. The ATCs leverage a diverse team of over 255,000 professionals across 24 countries to provide clients with cutting-edge technology solutions and industry insights. This role is specifically focused on the design and implementation of SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) tailored to the unique needs of the insurance industry. In this position, you will be responsible for driving the design and implementation processes to meet specific business requirements. This includes a thorough review of financial operations, accounting, and reporting processes, ensuring they align with the financial operating model specific to the insurance sector. You will facilitate Key Design Document (KDD) decisions and resource estimations, which are essential for the success of the project. Additionally, you will be tasked with driving process improvements and delivering measurable results in complex, enterprise-wide initiatives, making a significant impact on the overall efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within the organization. Responsibilities
- Drive the design and implementation of SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) to meet business requirements.
- Review financial operations, accounting, and reporting processes tailored to the insurance industry's financial operating model.
- Facilitate Key Design Document (KDD) decisions and resource estimations to ensure project success.
- Drive process improvements and deliver measurable results in complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience implementing SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL), SAP S/4HANA Finance, and SAP FSCD.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associates degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS17 accounting standards.
- Understanding of data modeling and management concepts.
- Familiarity with SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL).
- Understanding of Insurance analyzer integration with systems like FSCD, FRDP, PaPM, MDM, and MDG data management.
