About the position

The Senior SAP HANA Project Manager will lead a team to achieve specific project goals within defined constraints. This role involves managing high visibility projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. The Project Manager will collaborate with business partners and IT teams to develop project charters, integrated project plans, and manage project scope, budget, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the work of a team to achieve specific project goals and criteria within project constraints.
• Assist in the development of project charters including scope, budget, deliverables, milestones, roles, responsibilities, and value proposition.
• Develop integrated project plans, resource plans, contingency plans, and related project management artifacts.
• Collaborate with business partners, sponsors, project leads, and IT partners to manage all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Manage project scope to ensure commitments are achieved within time, cost, and quality parameters.
• Proactively manage changes in scope and identify potential risks with corresponding contingencies and mitigations.
• Facilitate the development and management of project budgets and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and expenditures.
• Develop communication plans to meet project objectives and ensure stakeholder awareness.
• Publish periodic project status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Leverage cross-functional relationships for successful project completion.
• Manage large-scale projects with significant budgets and complex dependencies.
• Utilize best practices and innovative techniques in project management for execution.
• Manage multiple initiatives with varying requirements simultaneously.
• Collaborate with PMO team to improve project management methodologies and train other project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is a plus.
• 3-5 years of project management experience with cross-functional team projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and MS Schedule (or equivalent).
• PMP certification and agile experience are a bonus.
• Utility (Electric/Gas), IT, Engineering industry experience is a plus.
• SAP experience.
