About the position

The Senior Scala Developer position is a hands-on role focused on coding high-scale applications using Scala, Kinesis, or Kafka, along with NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Scala and a strong background in software development, particularly in building scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Code high scale applications using Kinesis or Kafka with DynamoDB or Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience
• Extensive experience using Scala in at least 3-5 different projects
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or Kinesis
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Strong coding skills in Scala
• Java, Redis, and Kafka experience preferred

Nice-to-haves

• Scala experience in programming context (not in big data)
