Senior Scientist, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Foundational ML (gCS, BRAID)

Genentech is seeking a highly motivated Senior AI Scientist to join the Deep Learning Theory and Algorithms (DELTA) lab within the BRAID department. This role focuses on advancing deep learning research to support drug and target discovery efforts, particularly through the development of large-scale foundation models in research biology. The position involves leading a research program that innovates foundational deep-learning methods with real-world applications in drug discovery, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of AI scientists, ML engineers, computational biologists, and biological chemists.
