About The Position

The Senior Scientist in Cell Based Assays will play a crucial role in the Biologics Potency team, focusing on the development and validation of immunoassays and cell-based potency assays to evaluate the biological activity of various biologics modalities. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and involves maintaining detailed laboratory records and contributing to regulatory submissions.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience, OR M.S. in the same fields with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR B.S. in the same fields with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with cell-based assays and immunoassays.
• Strong understanding of biological potency and assay development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize cell-based potency assays and immunoassays for biologics.
• Conduct pre-qualification and robustness studies for assay validation.
• Transfer assays to internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support biologics development.
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.
• Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions and technical reports.
