As a Senior Scientist in Consumer Products Research at Mars, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and product development within our diverse portfolio. Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation in product development by conducting consumer research and market analysis.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate product performance and consumer acceptance.
  • Analyze data and present findings to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product concepts and formulations.

Requirements

  • PhD in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field with a focus on consumer products.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development or consumer research within the food or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with sensory evaluation techniques.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in food product development.
  • Knowledge of statistical software for data analysis.
