About the position

Mammoth's Editing Technologies team is hiring a Sr. Scientist I/II to play a lead role in the development of a next-generation genome editing platform. The successful candidate will optimize the platform technology for efficacy and specificity in mammalian cells to enable in vivo editing of various therapeutic targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to impact human health by making CRISPR tools that cure genetic disease. The role involves planning, designing, and executing experiments for CRISPR tool development projects, as well as designing and producing DNA and RNA-based reagents for genome editing experiments in human cells. The candidate will also contribute creatively to seed innovation projects through literature review and shape execution tactics, provide instruction to junior team members, document experiments in electronic laboratory notebooks, present experimental results at internal meetings, and disclose inventions to the IP team for patenting. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
