The Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology & Center for Immunity, Inflammation & Regenerative Medicine at the University of Virginia's (UVA) School of Medicine, seeks a Senior Scientist to work in the lab of Dr. Erdbruegger. The selected candidate will study the diagnostic and therapeutic role of Extracellular vesicles (EVs) in kidney disease, HTN and diabetes.
Senior Scientists are expected to have sufficient experience and background to organize small research groups. Senior Scientists are expected to perform assigned tasks on their own initiative with minimal direction.
Responsibilities Include:

In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: PhD, MD, or equivalent degree
The position will remain open until filled. This is an exempt-level, benefitted position. The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment. A pre-employment health screening is required. This position is located in Charlottesville, VA.
