About the position

Indev is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master/Business Analyst to support automation and Salesforce initiatives for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA). This role involves leading agile teams, facilitating ceremonies, and engaging with senior government stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies, business analysis, and project management, particularly in a federal IT context.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile/Scrum ceremonies for various automation and Salesforce projects.
• Coach teams to higher levels of agile maturity and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Work with the Product Owner and development teams to ensure user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
• Remove impediments to ensure the team stays on track, addressing issues and resolving roadblocks.
• Drive team transparency using Agile metrics and regular updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define and gather technical and business requirements for Salesforce implementations and automation solutions.
• Assist with backlog management, ensuring features, epics, and user stories are detailed and prioritized.
• Conduct analysis and document business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders to review and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support planning sessions and contribute expertise to Release and Sprint Planning.
• Facilitate communication between business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business analysts for smooth implementation of automation solutions.
• Provide status updates and reports to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Lead the creation of key project deliverables such as sprint review reports and process flow diagrams.
• Manage project risks and communicate mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in the United States.
• 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master with cloud-based platforms, including 3+ years supporting Federal IT projects.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud-based platforms such as Salesforce and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum.
• Experience leading agile ceremonies and teams.
• Experience with Agile tools, preferably Jira.
• Experience supporting the full SDLC from discovery to deployment.
• Proficient in creating and managing project backlogs and writing user stories.
• Experience with client management and expectation setting.
• Ability to facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior management.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience supporting large Salesforce implementations for federal agencies.
• Salesforce configuration experience.
• Additional Agile certifications such as CSPO, CSM, or PMP.
• DHS Public Trust clearance or eligibility.
