About the position

As a Scrum Master at Fidelity Charitable, you will leverage your deep expertise in Scrum to mentor and coach teams, driving continuous improvement and enhancing agile practices. You will work collaboratively within a squad to facilitate agile ceremonies, manage backlogs, and remove impediments, ensuring effective delivery of value. Your role will also involve coordinating release management and scaling activities, while analyzing team performance through metrics to optimize agile maturity.

Responsibilities

• Advise, mentor, coach, and train teams on agile values, practices, and processes.
• Maintain and update the squad backlog and performance metrics.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Manage release management coordination and interdependencies across squads.
• Support the adoption and consistent use of enabling tools like Jira and MS Teams.
• Assist in training new scrum masters as part of the scrum master chapter lead.

Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master role.
• Experience with Jira/Jira Align.
• Strong communication and people-interaction skills.
• Proven ability to coach agile practices across various functions.
