About the position

The Senior Scrum Master at NextEra will act as a primary IT liaison to the Accounting organization, ensuring the success of IT projects across four Agile teams. This role involves overseeing the release train for key initiatives, managing project budgets, and facilitating Scrum ceremonies. The Senior Scrum Master will also coach teams towards self-organization and continuous improvement while promoting collaboration and transparency within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Release Train Engineer for Accounting teams.
• Coordinate with Scrum Masters for Accounting teams and RTEs for FP&A and ISC trains.
• Conduct PI pre-planning for Accounting teams and facilitate consolidated PI planning for all ITECA teams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track, promote, and publish completed program initiatives, epics, and business value metrics following Agile methodology.
• Own the planning, estimation, design, configuration, testing, and production release on financial projects.
• Interact with business leadership and key stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize work.
• Coach teams towards self-organization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
