About the position

We have an immediate need for a Scrum Master III for a contract to hire opportunity in San Antonio, TX. This role supports a hybrid work model, so we are looking for individuals that can be flexible to go onsite once a month or as needed based on project requirements. As a Scrum Master II, you will serve as a facilitator, bridging the needs of product management, sales, marketing, operations, and product development. By serving as a facilitator for agile teams, working under the scrum methodology, you'll be the point person responsible for understanding the big development picture of each sprint. Our clients' scrum masters believe communication is key and strive to build relationships throughout the organization. You'll keep the teams on track and maximize productivity to speedily deliver value to our internal customers with our signature all-win approach in mind. In this role, you will collaborate with development teams to ensure they follow their Agile framework values and practices while developing the Agile mindset overall. You will facilitate decision-making processes and eliminate team impediments to support software initiatives. Additionally, you will mentor, measure, and motivate software development teams to optimize processes and increase productivity. Assisting with leading workshops and other training activities to educate and advocate for Agile framework values and practices, with a focus on Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban, will also be part of your responsibilities. You will inspire individual growth by coaching team members to be self-organizing and accountable, always taking action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure they follow their Agile framework values and practices, while developing the Agile mindset overall

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience on software development teams with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the application of Agile frameworks and practices
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor development teams effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively present ideas, facilitate meetings and discussions, and lead training activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
  • A CSM/PSM, A-CSM, or CSP-SM certification
