ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, is at the forefront of developing lithography machines that are essential for producing faster, cheaper, and more energy-efficient microchips. The Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) within ASML Core IT Infrastructure Services operates as an Agile Release Train (ART) that provides Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud services to various departments across the organization. Approximately 50 teams utilize these cloud platforms in a DevOps manner, which empowers them to build, run, own, and maintain their own cloud environments. The CCoE's role extends beyond merely providing a stable and secure cloud platform; it also encompasses offering best practices and guidance to ensure that teams can effectively manage architecture, security, service management, and cost management. In the capacity of a Senior Scrum Master, you will be a servant leader responsible for guiding CCoE teams in supporting and advising customers throughout their cloud journey. You will collaborate closely with your team’s Product Owner and engage with the Leading Coalition, other Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders. Reporting to the Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will actively participate in Scrum of Scrums and take the initiative to collaborate and discuss dependencies with internal customers who require your expertise to create solutions within your team's scope. Your role will involve driving team development through various Agile rituals, including 1-on-1 conversations, sprint reviews, refinement sessions, and retrospectives. As a Scrum Master, you will be a trusted figure within your team, possessing strong coaching abilities and the maturity to balance transparency with discretion. You will provide essential information to the RTE and help shape the teams within the ART by identifying gaps or areas for improvement. This includes assessing team evolution, skillset balance, and professional development direction, all while ensuring alignment with the ART's vision. To succeed in this dynamic and multicultural environment, you will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. You will be expected to meet and exceed expectations while remaining flexible and ambitious in your approach to continuous improvement. Your ability to understand and respond to client needs will be crucial, as will your capacity to initiate meetings to analyze issues and plan solutions effectively.
