About the position

The Senior SDLC Agile Project Manager will lead and manage complex software development projects using Agile methodologies. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient execution of Agile projects, from planning through to delivery, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects using Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress, address any issues or risks, and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
  • Implement and champion Agile best practices and principles within the project team.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with business requirements and goals.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and clarify project requirements and expectations.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, including progress, risks, and issues.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Mentor and support project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Evaluate and refine project management and Agile processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management within the SDLC, with at least 5 years focused on Agile methodologies.
  • Proven expertise in Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC.
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with software development practices, including design, development, and testing.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification is preferred.
