About the position

The Senior Security and IT Analyst at Draper is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations of the Security and IT portfolio. This position involves strategic planning, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives to align with the organization's mission. The analyst will collaborate with senior leadership to protect Draper's assets and personnel while ensuring compliance with security guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the business operations for the Security/IT organization and serve as a principal advisor to senior leadership.
  • Develop innovative Security/IT principles and implement industry best practices.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in various aspects of Security/IT, providing senior-level support.
  • Direct essential activities as the Point Of Contact for the CSO/CIO, coordinating strategic leadership meetings and town halls.
  • Manage tracking mechanisms for organization-wide metrics to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to boost operational efficiency and engagement.
  • Project manage initiatives aimed at improving retention, culture, and communication.
  • Provide support and briefings to the Executive Leadership Team on various topics.
  • Serve as a senior-level liaison between Security/IT and business units to ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Develop and implement methods of inspection and analysis of security functions for performance evaluation.
  • Spearhead the transformation of the Security and IT brand and manage communication tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree combined with Security and IT experience; master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of Security and IT experience in large scale, complex Department of Defense programs.
  • Current in-scope Top Secret security clearance required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with special access programs and sensitive compartmented information programs.
