About the position

The Senior Security Network Engineer position is a critical role focused on ensuring the security and integrity of network systems. This position requires extensive experience in network security, particularly with Cisco technologies, and involves working with various security protocols and hardware. The role is essential for maintaining the organization's cybersecurity posture and requires a strong understanding of network architecture and security certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and secure network infrastructure using Cisco technologies.
• Implement and troubleshoot network security measures and protocols.
• Monitor network performance and security incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance network security policies and procedures.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and security measures.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience in network security.
• Strong experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure and Cisco ASA.
• Understanding of IEEE 802.11 protocols and TCP/IP (Layers 3/4).
• Familiarity with switching and routing protocols and associated hardware.
• Must hold one of the following certifications: IAT Level III CISSP, CCNP-Routing, or CCNP Security.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cisco Firepower and Cisco Wireless LAN Controller.
• Familiarity with Bluecoat Proxy and RSA Server.
• Knowledge of Cisco DNA Center and Cisco ISE.
