About the position

Helium 10 is seeking a Senior SEO Copywriter to lead the creation and optimization of impactful content aimed at Amazon and Walmart sellers. This role involves managing the content roadmap, ensuring high-quality written assets that resonate with target personas, and driving complex content initiatives to elevate the Helium 10 brand. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SEO strategies and best practices, along with the ability to craft compelling narratives that support sellers in their business journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute the SEO content roadmap, writing and optimizing website content, product descriptions, blog posts, case studies, video scripts, whitepapers, landing pages, and other marketing content.
  • Independently review and edit copy for accuracy, grammar, and compliance with company and industry best practices.
  • Perform in-depth competitive analysis to identify content opportunities based on market research insights.
  • Maintain active knowledge of Helium 10 customer personas, product offerings, and best practices for selling on Amazon and Walmart.
  • Monitor SEO and marketing trends, SaaS industry developments, and competitors' strategies to keep content relevant and optimized.
  • Leverage SEO and digital research tools to uncover search trends for integration into written content.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of on-page SEO elements to enhance search engine visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute content calendars and work with the creative team on graphic and video assets.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics using traffic analytics tools, adjusting content strategies to enhance search rankings and drive results.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders regarding content effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a copywriter, ideally with in-house experience at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience leveraging SEO best practices, keyword research, and on-page optimization strategies.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with tools including WordPress, Ahrefs, SurferSEO, SEMRush, and Google Analytics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Foundational knowledge of how selling on Amazon and/or Walmart works.
  • Experience in a SaaS or tech company.
