About the position
The Senior SEO Manager at Slack will be responsible for developing and executing the global SEO strategy to drive organic growth across multiple regions. This role requires a highly analytical and collaborative individual with a proven track record in international SEO, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of Slack's global SEO roadmap, collaborating with regional content teams and agencies.
- Partner with product teams to integrate SEO requirements into the product roadmap.
- Utilize data to prioritize SEO initiatives, track performance, and measure impact across regions.
- Establish and disseminate SEO best practices and guidelines across regions.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for SEO and monitor progress with regional teams.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and maintain project momentum.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SEO experience with a deep understanding of methodologies and best practices.
- Demonstrated success in managing SEO strategies across multiple geographic regions.
- Experience managing SEO for multilingual websites.
- Hands-on approach to on-page optimization, content editing, and technical SEO analysis.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to leverage data for decision-making and performance measurement.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to build cross-functional relationships.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, and Screaming Frog.
