About the position

Trone is seeking an experienced SEO specialist who excels at developing and managing multichannel digital marketing campaigns. Working with clients and our diverse marketing team, you will be responsible for strategizing, implementing, and managing SEO activities such as SEO audits, content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks for a variety of clients. You will also participate in managing PPC campaigns on Google and social media platforms as well as reporting and analyzing campaign performance. The ideal candidate for this role will bring extensive experience from a variety of digital marketing projects, a desire to continue mastering new tools and techniques to better serve our clients, and an understanding of how each part of a multichannel marketing campaign delivers value to achieve client goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform SEO preservation activities for website builds
  • Conduct SEO audits to provide strategic recommendations for improvement in technical, on-page and off-page SEO
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Perform ongoing keyword research and optimization
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Digital media strategy and campaign development including platform selection and budget allocation
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, and identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search and other digital media campaigns
  • Track, report and analyze website analytics and digital media initiatives and campaigns
  • Manage campaign expenses within the budget, estimate monthly costs and reconcile discrepancies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Digital marketing: 5 years (required)
  • Google Analytics certification (required)

Nice-to-haves

  • Agency experience: 3 years (preferred)

  • Google Ads Display certification (preferred)
