About the position
The Senior Service Engineer IS role is a remote position focused on collaborating with developers, testers, and program managers to design, operate, and enhance large-scale computer-based services. This position emphasizes technical expertise in automation, resilience modeling, and service architecture to ensure high-quality service delivery in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and program managers to design and improve large-scale services.
- Influence software engineering teams to translate customer and technical requirements into service architecture.
- Lead discussions in backlog meetings to prioritize Live Site requirements.
- Utilize data and metrics to drive decisions and improve processes.
- Conduct resilience modeling and simulate service outages for various solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
- 5 years of related experience, with more preferred.
- Experience in automation related to deployment and recovery processes.
- Experience with n-tier solutions and resilience modeling.
- Ability to influence team members and lead discussions on service architecture.
