About the position

Koniag Management Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to work remotely. This role involves supporting ServiceNow initiatives aimed at business modernization, enhancing customer experience, and delivering effective IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead discussions with senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team and clients in delivering ServiceNow initiatives focused on business modernization.
  • Design and deliver effective business and operating models, enabling ITIL capabilities for ITBM, ITSM, and ITOM implementations.
  • Improve customer experience through a cohesive and effective set of solutions.
  • Proactively learn new concepts and technologies relevant to organizational objectives.
  • Interact with senior management to influence significant matters and maintain a team-focused message.
  • Drive conversations regarding overall objectives with current and future goals and technologies.
  • Educate clients on design and changes needed to expand ServiceNow ecosystems.
  • Support the development and configuration of ServiceNow across various areas including Service Portal, Change, Problem, Incident, and more.
  • Identify, create, and execute test cases for ServiceNow and other software platforms.
  • Collaborate with team members to document business and technical requirements.
  • Design and develop workflows, forms, scripts, and logic using SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
  • Participate in ServiceNow version upgrades and offer technical solutions to address requirements.
  • Assist with quality assurance and the delivery of technical functionality.
  • Create technical architecture, design, and user guide documentation.
  • Work with stakeholders to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products.
  • Contribute to IT-related technical process reviews and continual process improvement.
  • Create estimations on effort required for ServiceNow functionality.
  • Assist with strategic and tactical ServiceNow capabilities focused on ITBM, ITOM, and ITSM.
  • Attend and occasionally lead Scrum meetings, and demo builds to customers.
  • Translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functional features.
  • Identify areas of opportunity through analysis and conversations with subject matter experts.
  • Deliver technical projects through agile methodologies and iterative design.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and key client deliverables.
  • Contribute to the improvement of Delivery Services processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience developing/administrating/implementing on the ServiceNow platform (ITSM/ITOM/ITBM/SecOps solutions).
  • Experience with full stack web technologies: Java, JavaScript, Angular.js, React, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proven experience in ITSM and ITBM.
  • Knowledge of ITIL; Foundation level preferred.
  • Experience implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to maintain current ServiceNow/industry certifications and obtain additional certifications.
