About the position

GovCIO is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to support our GAO contract in Washington, D.C. This hybrid position involves providing technological solutions and advice to clients, focusing on technology integration and process improvement across various business functions. The role requires extensive research, analysis, and collaboration with clients and technical teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provides clients advice and technological solutions to support clients' demands.
• Performs technology integration or process improvement for a variety of business functions.
• Conducts extensive research of clients' needs and capabilities.
• Performs various analyses such as risk management and cost-benefit analysis.
• Utilizes modeling, measuring techniques, and economic disciplines to determine solutions.
• Plans and coordinates solution integration, implementation, and testing.
• Meets and interacts with clients to capture and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Develops functional and system design specifications for client engagements.
• Identifies tools that help the client share information, manage processes, and convert raw data into information.
• Collaborates with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
• Stays knowledgeable of current technological advancements and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 8+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
• 8+ years of SharePoint experience.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
