The Senior SIGINT Specialist position at SOSi is a critical role that focuses on providing support to ground SIGINT operations, coordination, and synchronization of SIGINT activities. This position is contingent upon contract award and requires the specialist to deliver timely, relevant, accurate, and predictive SIGINT and Electronic Warfare support. The primary goal is to enable commanders and subordinate unit commanders to gain a comprehensive understanding of their battlespace and enemy forces. The specialist will be responsible for providing routine and recurring support to SIGINT activities from secure locations, including bases, camps, and installations. In this role, the Senior SIGINT Specialist will monitor the collection flow, identify any issues, and communicate these concerns to unit leadership and IT personnel. They will research, develop, present, and publish ground SIGINT intelligence products at various levels, including tactical, operational, and strategic. The specialist will also monitor audio and relay audio cuts to the appropriate organizations, such as the Language Analysis Cell (LAC) and Analysis Research Cell (ARC). Additionally, they will provide indications and warnings (I&W) for force protection issues, recognizing critical information that needs to be communicated and coordinating accordingly. The position involves supporting Train, Advise, and Assist missions, as well as GIST dissemination. The specialist will evaluate traffic to determine its intelligence value and ensure that quality control processes are conducted based on customer requirements and unit standards. Conducting analysis of raw and fused signals intelligence data concerning insurgent threat activities is a key responsibility, along with providing input on various ad-hoc SIGINT requirements and objectives. The specialist will perform SIGINT analysis on insurgent threats, mission planning, target development, damage assessment, and counterterrorism efforts within the Combined Joint Operations Area (CJOA). Comprehensive research on specific topics, both independently and as part of a larger analytical effort, will be required, focusing on current events and long-term trends that could impact the supported unit's mission. Deliverables may include collection reports, time-sensitive reports, all-source intelligence products, PowerPoint presentations, target packages, information papers, and daily completed reports.
