About the position
The Senior SIGINT Systems Engineer will provide system engineering support for an emerging SIGINT prototype development effort at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This role involves collaborating with other engineers to develop, test, and refine a prototype system for the US Army, supporting test events, training soldiers, and integrating technical requirements into ongoing operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide system engineering support for SIGINT prototype development.
- Collaborate with systems and software engineers to test and refine the system.
- Support test and experimentation events.
- Train and support soldiers in using the capability and assist in testing and assessing the system's viability.
- Provide technical expertise for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Develop and incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TOP SECRET SCI Clearance and a CI Polygraph to be acquired in the future.
- 10 or more years of experience as a Senior System Engineer with a BS in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience conducting Capabilities-Based Assessments (CBAs) and Capabilities Needs Analyses (CNAs).
- Experience with Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTDs) and Joint Urgent Operational Needs (JUONs).
- Experience in conducting research and analysis of current and emerging concepts and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in RF collection sensor capabilities.
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency spectrum including commercial and military bands.
- Ability to integrate disparate system capabilities into a functional collection prototype.
- Experience in developing system requirements and allocating them to hardware, software, and personnel components.
