In this senior engineer position within the Analytics COE department of the Research & Development Solutions organization (R DSIT), the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be responsible for designing and implementing a hybrid cloud strategy that encompasses both public cloud (AWS) and on-premises deployments. This strategy will support distributed software systems that cater to various scenarios related to clinical trials and other aspects of IQVIA's pharma/tech business. The role is highly collaborative, requiring close partnership with peer SREs, IT groups, and software engineering teams to establish environments, deploy applications, set metrics, and achieve infrastructure performance and stability targets. The ideal candidate will possess not only infrastructure expertise but also substantial software engineering experience, enabling them to engage in design, development, and leadership activities effectively.
