We are currently seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who is not only technically proficient but also possesses a strong sense of security and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a blend of experience in Security, SRE, and DevOps, and will be instrumental in automating our engineering processes to ensure they align with our business objectives and security standards. This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a collaborative environment filled with experienced and opinionated colleagues. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining a secure and flexible AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, along with scripting languages like Python and Bash. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins, which are essential for enhancing the productivity of our engineering teams. Your role will involve monitoring and optimizing the performance, reliability, and security of our AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensure they are highly available and responsive. Additionally, you will implement and maintain comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to swiftly identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks within the infrastructure. Continuous research and evaluation of new technologies, tools, and methodologies will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will be expected to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, scalability, and security within our systems. Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain secure and flexible AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to enhance productivity for the engineering team.
• Proactively monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and security of AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to identify and address issues in the infrastructure.
• Continuously research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies for improving efficiency, scalability, and security.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with AWS infrastructure, with a deep understanding of its main building blocks including networking, storage, and computing.
• 3+ years of experience using Terraform, with advanced proficiency and familiarity with other IaC tools like Ansible.
• 5+ years of scripting experience in Bash and Python, demonstrating strong coding expertise.
• 5+ years of experience in CI/CD processes, with a strong understanding of various tools and frameworks, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• 3+ years of experience in the security domain, with knowledge of standards and experience in at least one standard audit (e.g., SOC II, PCI).
