About the position

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at ADT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our software solutions. You will work within the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, collaborating with Infrastructure and Development teams to monitor services, resolve incidents, and proactively address potential issues. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Infrastructure and Development teams to monitor services and resolve incidents.
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for large-scale distributed software applications.
• Identify problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement proactively.
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of software solutions.
• Participate in software release and change management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in a related field strongly preferred.
• Ability to program using high-level languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript.
• Experience managing distributed systems and Cloud Environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with dynamic resource management frameworks like Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring systems such as Dynatrace.
