About the position

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) plays a crucial role in enhancing the reliability of customer and ordering systems. This position involves utilizing expertise in software architecture to address and resolve complex issues, ensuring system recovery, and preventing recurring problems. The engineer will collaborate across functions to define and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) while providing on-call support to maintain exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Utilize expertise in software architecture to improve system reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis of complex issues and perform post-incident analysis.
• Collaborate on high-priority incidents to ensure system recovery and prevent recurring issues.
• Work cross-functionally to identify and create reliability and performance indicators.
• Define, monitor, and report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

• 6+ years of automation experience in PowerShell, C# (or similar).
• Experience with CI/CD, automation tools, monitoring tools, and version control.
• Ability to understand and interpret software code.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
