About the position

The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of social media content, campaigns, and strategies across all commerce platforms. This role aims to drive the marketing and communications strategy by architecting an integrated approach and guiding tactical implementation. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective social media management and the promotion of brand growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop the social support and roadmap, including setting a team vision and developing KPIs.
• Understand specific social media needs and make recommendations on short and long-term strategies.
• Instill an 'always learning' culture within the team focusing on industry trends and new platforms.
• Oversee and strategize content calendars and posting schedules with various stakeholders.
• Support incident management needs and guide social response in collaboration with executive, PR, and legal guidance.
• Oversee and develop a social media team and seek out new opportunities to grow the brand.
• Support the influencer program and make recommendations for its growth.
• Manage the department budget to meet expectations.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field, or four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Exhibit knowledge and correct use of social media management tools.
• Five (5) years of marketing-related experience in hospitality or a related industry.
• Five (5) years' experience managing multiple social media outlets from planning to execution phase.
