About the position

Ava Labs is seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to lead and enhance our social media presence across various platforms. This role is pivotal in managing the brand's outward-facing persona, particularly for our key social media channels such as X, LinkedIn, and Reddit. The Senior Social Media Manager will collaborate closely with the marketing and design teams, as well as product and engineering teams, to develop and execute innovative social campaigns that will scale our reach and expand our audience globally. The responsibilities include creating original written content, planning and executing daily, weekly, and monthly social campaigns, and optimizing content for different social channels and communities. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned social media expert, well-versed in the latest trends and analytics platforms within the Web3 landscape, and possess a proactive, independent mindset. This position requires a strong understanding of crypto marketing and the ability to engage effectively with our community. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the day-to-day publishing and management of the Avalanche and AvaxDevelopers X accounts, ensuring that these accounts remain professional, comprehensive, and up-to-date. You will also create brief, engaging content and copy across major social channels, develop strategies for ongoing platform and product marketing campaigns, and work with the Creative team to produce visually appealing graphics and videos that align with our social messaging.

Responsibilities

• Manage key social media channels for Avalanche, including X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more.
• Drive the day-to-day publishing and management of the main Avalanche and AvaxDevelopers X accounts.
• Create brief, engaging content and copy across major social channels.
• Develop strategies and messaging for ongoing platform and product marketing campaigns.
• Work with the Creative team to create on-brand, visually appealing graphics and videos that complement social messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years experience in social media marketing, with crypto marketing experience preferred.
• Proven track record with managing social media pages for high-growth brands.
• Experience in social media marketing, channel management, content creation, copywriting, and community engagement.
• Familiarity with crypto Twitter and experience creating Twitter posts around specific crypto topics.
• Technical background that understands general technical concepts.
• Experience managing and running multiple social campaigns within broader co-marketing efforts.
• Experience using Web3 applications.
• Strong copywriting background.
• Experience as an active contributor to social communities.
• Advanced knowledge of social media publishing tools, project management tools, major social channels (e.g. Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube), and social analytics.
• Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinker with the ability to bring personality and energy to social communities.
