The Senior Social Media Manager at Cape Resorts is a pivotal role that collaborates closely with the Senior Director of Marketing to craft and implement comprehensive social media strategies for the company's diverse portfolio of hotel properties, restaurants, and events. This position is responsible for managing social media presence across multiple platforms, ensuring that the unique offerings of each property are effectively communicated and promoted. The role requires a dynamic individual who can serve as a passionate brand ambassador, engaging with both internal teams and external audiences to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. In this position, the Senior Social Media Manager will oversee the Social Media Manager, working collaboratively to execute the established strategies and manage the day-to-day operations of social media channels. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling posts in advance, curating authentic content, and leveraging social media to boost brand awareness. The role also involves attending events to provide live coverage, engaging with influencers and brand advocates, and monitoring online conversations to maintain a positive brand image. Reporting is a key component of this role, with the Senior Social Media Manager expected to provide monthly reports on social media growth and customer service insights. This data will be used to inform marketing strategies and improve overall performance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and possess a strong work ethic, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen eye for detail and creativity.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or business required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media marketing.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in social media platforms.
  • Proficient in Adobe In-Design, Word Press, and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to take and select high-quality photographs and videos.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
