About the position

As a Senior Social Media Marketing Manager at Liberty Mutual, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Executive LinkedIn Program, which is integral to our enterprise goals. This position is part of the Global Brand & Communications team, where you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing complex marketing campaigns on LinkedIn. Your efforts will focus on promoting Liberty Mutual as a premier workplace and attracting top-tier talent to our organization. The role requires a strategic approach to managing social media channels, particularly LinkedIn, to enhance brand awareness and engage both prospective talent and current employees. In this position, you will oversee the content strategy and development process for the LinkedIn channels of key leaders within Liberty Mutual. This includes managing content reviews and approvals with internal stakeholders and ensuring timely publication of content. You will create compelling and engaging LinkedIn content that aligns with each executive's communication strategy and personal brand, ensuring it resonates with their target audience to drive high-performing results. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with various internal partners, including Enterprise Communications, Public Relations, Talent & Digital Marketing, and DEI, as well as external creative agencies. Staying updated on social media best practices is essential, as you will conduct regular competitor analysis and industry research to identify opportunities for enhancements. You will also be responsible for performance reporting, understanding KPIs associated with social channels, and managing all reporting needs for the Executive LinkedIn Program, crafting presentations that showcase social media results, insights, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the content strategy, planning, and development process for LinkedIn channels of key leaders within Liberty Mutual.
  • Create compelling, engaging LinkedIn content that aligns with each Executive's communication strategy and personal brand.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external agencies to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
  • Stay updated on social media best practices and conduct competitor analysis to identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Understand KPIs associated with social channels and optimize strategies to achieve enterprise goals.
  • Manage reporting needs for the Executive LinkedIn Program, crafting presentations that showcase results and insights.

Requirements

  • Experience working with C-suite level executives and proven record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong experience with social media channels, particularly LinkedIn, and understanding of its features and algorithms.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, execute, and optimize social media strategies to drive engagement.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and analytics for decision-making.
  • Strong presentation skills, proficiency in PowerPoint, and ability to lead meetings effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with proven success in managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications preferred, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a marketing-driven organization.
