The Tools and Automation Engineer at Apple will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of UI Frameworks and public SDKs used by developers. Responsibilities

• Develop tools and frameworks to automate testing of user-facing systems.

• Drive the quality of UI Frameworks and public SDKs used by developers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, SDET, or Automation Engineer.
• Experience in developing tools and test frameworks for UI and non-UI layers.
• Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Object Oriented programming languages such as Python or Swift.
• Ability to manage cross-functional communications and maintain timelines.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficient in Xcode environment and coding in Swift; Objective C is a bonus.
• Experience writing automation for iOS, MacOS, iPadOS, or visionOS apps.
• Experience in developing test applications to validate APIs.
• Experience building automation solutions for large technology stacks.
