About the position
The Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon Managed Services (AMS) will play a pivotal role in defining and building innovative AI/GenAI driven cloud computing solutions for AWS customers. This position involves owning the architectural design and implementation of impactful AWS product offerings, working collaboratively with a diverse team to drive business initiatives and enhance operational scalability in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and build AI/GenAI driven cloud computing solutions for AWS customers.
- Own the architectural design and implementation of AWS product offerings.
- Collaborate with leaders across Kumo to bring innovations to life.
- Drive critical business initiatives to enhance operational scalability.
- Engage in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from research to ideation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
