The Senior Software Development Engineer for Amazon Managed Services (AMS) at AWS is responsible for defining and building innovative AI/GenAI driven cloud computing solutions. Responsibilities

• Define and build AI/GenAI driven cloud computing solutions for AWS customers.
• Own the architectural design and implementation of AWS product offerings.
• Collaborate with leaders across Kumo to bring innovations to life.
• Drive critical business initiatives to sustain platform growth.
• Engage in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from research to ideation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
