About the position

Gejits Infotech Inc is seeking a Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in Angular, C#, ASP.net, and Oracle DB to join their team. This remote position is specifically for candidates located in Texas and involves working with a direct state client in Austin. The role focuses on designing, coding, and modifying complex software applications while ensuring adherence to development standards and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Designs, codes and modifies complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes and scripts using Angular, C#, ASP.net, and Oracle Database.
• Performs necessary testing of assigned programs, including the generation of test data, writing test scripts/execution sequences, examining test results, debugging detected errors, etc.
• Uses current software development methods/techniques and established development standards to ensure the quality and maintainability of applications.
• Participates in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development.
• 8 years of experience in computer programming, analysis, and development of complex business processes and system solutions.
• 8 years of experience in coding, testing, and debugging programs (C#/ASP.net/Angular/Oracle DB).
• 8 years of ability to process information logically and design programs and systems logic.
• 7 years of highly developed oral and written communication skills.
• 7 years of high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate employees.
• 7 years of knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends and market experience.
• 7 years of knowledge of architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure and applications.
• 7 years of knowledge of emerging technologies in the information systems industry.
• 7 years of knowledge of tools and techniques for protecting corporate data integrity and technology practices.
• 7 years of knowledge of solution delivery utilizing Agile or Scrum methodology.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies.
• 2 years of familiarity with existing and planned software technology and software architecture components.
