About the position

The Senior Software Developer (C/C++) position is focused on systems programming and software development, requiring a strong background in C, C++, Unix, and Linux environments. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, as well as automating processes through Unix Shell Scripting. The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience and a passion for creating efficient software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems using C, C++, Unix, and Linux.
• Write and manage Unix Shell Scripts to automate various processes and tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

Requirements

• Total of 8-10 years of experience in software development.
• Extensive experience in systems side programming using C, C++, Unix, and Linux.
• Experience with OpenSync, RDK, or OpenWrt and Yocto.
• Experience in embedded development (firmware, middleware, device driver, HAL etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Unix Shell Scripting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with Agile Methodology.
• Experience with OpenSync, RDK, or OpenWrt.
• Experience in the Telecom or Cable domain.
