About the position

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Cloud Video team at Adobe, you will be responsible for enhancing and developing collaborative video editing solutions that leverage cloud technology. This role focuses on building a new media synchronization solution to facilitate fast and reliable collaborative access within Adobe's creative applications, such as Premiere Pro and After Effects. You will work alongside a talented team of engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features and services that meet the needs of a diverse range of users, from Hollywood professionals to social media influencers.

Responsibilities

• Craft and improve the technology stack for cloud-connected video editing solutions.
• Build new features and services for Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other creative apps.
• Design and implement a cloud-connected media synchronization solution.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to develop features for customers.
• Solve problems and enhance system and product quality.
• Optimize algorithms for performance improvements.

Requirements

• Undergraduate and/or Graduate degrees in Computer Science & Engineering disciplines.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Deep knowledge of C++.
• Experience developing applications for Mac and/or Windows.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Passion for problem solving and understanding complex systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Exposure to and experience with video editing software.
