About the position
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Cloud Video team at Adobe, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing collaborative video editing solutions that leverage cloud technology. This role focuses on building a new media synchronization solution to facilitate fast and reliable collaborative access within Adobe's creative applications, such as Premiere Pro and After Effects. You will work alongside a talented team of engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features that enhance user experiences in video editing.
Responsibilities
- Craft and improve the technology stack for cloud-connected video editing solutions.
- Build new features and services for Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other creative apps.
- Develop a cloud-connected media synchronization solution for collaborative access.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to define and implement features.
- Solve problems and enhance system and product quality continuously.
- Optimize algorithms for performance improvements in video editing applications.
Requirements
- Undergraduate and/or Graduate degrees in Computer Science & Engineering disciplines.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Deep knowledge of C++ programming language.
- Experience developing applications for Mac and/or Windows platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Passion for problem solving and understanding complex systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience integrating with REST APIs.
- Exposure to and experience with video editing software.
