About the position

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Cloud Video team at Adobe, you will be responsible for enhancing and developing cloud-connected collaborative video editing solutions. This role focuses on building features for Adobe's video applications, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, enabling users to create and collaborate seamlessly across platforms. You will work with a talented team of engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality user experiences in video editing.

Responsibilities

• Craft and improve the technology stack for cloud-connected video editing solutions.
• Build new features and services for Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other creative apps.
• Develop a cloud-connected media synchronization solution for collaborative access.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to define and implement features.
• Solve problems and enhance system and product quality continuously.
• Optimize algorithms for performance improvements in video editing applications.

Requirements

• Undergraduate and/or Graduate degrees in Computer Science & Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Deep knowledge of C++.
• Experience developing applications for Mac and/or Windows.
• Passion for problem solving and understanding complex systems.
• Interest in delivering high-quality user experiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Exposure to video editing software.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
