About the position

The Senior Software Developer - Front End at Mappedin is responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using React, contributing to both the current Indoor Mapping Software and the next generation Editor product. The role emphasizes clean code practices, automated testing, and collaboration within an agile development environment. Developers will engage in high-value projects that promote personal and professional growth while utilizing cutting-edge technology in indoor mapping solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.
• Write clean, testable code covered with high-quality automated tests.
• Contribute to the development of the next generation Editor product.
• Engage in Test Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Collaborate with team members to balance individual goals with organizational needs.
• Participate in agile development processes, primarily focusing on uninterrupted development time.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Front End Application Development using React.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Test Driven Development.
• Experience with map rendering frameworks such as deck.gl, Leaflet, or MapBox GL JS is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in geometry and mathematical challenges.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Node.js for backend development.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Jest, Three.js, Webpack, Postgres, Kafka, MongoDB, and Docker.
