About the position

The Senior Software Developer (Scrum Master) at D&G Support Services, LLC plays a crucial role in supporting the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) by leading the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. This position involves creating high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards, while also providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. The role is integral to developing innovative logistics solutions that enhance warfighter readiness and lethality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.
• Create high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.
• Design and develop software to meet user needs, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Develop and conduct software testing to ensure the software is free from bugs and meets design requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including web designers, product managers, and QA teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution, or a Bachelor's degree in any field with one of the certifications: FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP.
• Minimum of 10 years of technical experience with IT or IT related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies, or a Master's Degree with at least 7 years' experience acceptable.
• DoD Secret clearance required.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, MVC, jQuery, C#, ASP.Net.Net/Core in Visual Studio.
• Experience with computer-aided software engineering tools.
• Knowledge of Scrum methodology.
• Familiarity with Fortify, SQL, Psql, SQL server, Oracle, RDS, DynamoDB, GIS, and cross-platform mobile development.
• Scrum Master Certification.
• Experience with USTRANSCOM IT Systems.
