About the position

The Senior Software Developer at D&G Support Services, LLC will play a crucial role in supporting the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. This position involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards. The developer will manage application developers and support the creation of innovative logistics solutions to enhance warfighter readiness and lethality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.
• Manage application developers focusing on SQL tuning, data modeling, data refresh, code migration, performance testing, and physical database design.
• Design and develop software to meet user needs, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Design, implement, code, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code and functionality.
• Support development teams with database object creation, PL/SQL, procedures, and triggers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution, or a Bachelor's degree in any field with one of the certifications: FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP.
• Minimum of 10 years of technical experience with IT or IT-related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies, or a Master's Degree with at least 7 years' experience acceptable.
• DoD Secret clearance.

• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
